Job Summary

DISH Network L.L.C is seeking a highly skilled Distribution Engineering Manager II to join our team. As a key member of our Manufacturing department, you will be responsible for managing and developing cross-functional relationships and strategies to support organizational goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy: Establish Distribution Engineering and Maintenance goals and objectives, and interact with senior management to set objectives and resolve issues.
  • Process Improvement: Drive process improvements and timely implementation of projects and tasks, and define processes and procedures in conjunction with Distribution Operations staff.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Provide accurate and clear communication in both written and verbal forms, delegate effectively, and share knowledge with team members.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize robotics and automation to improve processes, and engage in the typical responsibilities of a manager requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating, and controlling.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: Manage subordinate managers and individual contributors, and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Industrial and/or Mechanical Engineering or a similar field, and ten plus years of relevant work experience, or Master's degree in Engineering or Business and five years of relevant work experience.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with robotic and automation software such as LabView, Solidworks, and Allen Bradley PLCs, and experience with robotics and automation preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents, and ability to effectively present information to management and public groups.
