About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Family Medicine Practitioner to join our team at Brown University Health. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care and support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in primary care, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide routine check-ups, vaccinations, and preventative care to patients.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, such as hypertension, diabetes, and respiratory conditions.
  • Order laboratory tests and interpret results to inform diagnosis and treatment decisions.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between providers.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A graduate degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in Rhode Island.
  • Current certification as a National Board Certified Physician Assistant.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in primary care, preferably in family medicine or outpatient settings.

Benefits
