Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Professional to join our team at Brown Emergency Medicine. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with our experienced medical staff.

Brown Emergency Medicine is a leading academic emergency medicine physician practice plan of the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Our organization provides emergency department staffing for top-rated hospitals in Rhode Island, including Rhode Island Hospital, Hasbro Children's Hospital, The Miriam Hospital, and Newport Hospital.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in didactic conferences, procedure workshops, and lectures provided by senior physicians and faculty members.
  • Conduct hands-on training at various Emergency Departments, working with appointed faculty members.

Requirements:

  • Certificate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program.
  • Official Transcripts.
  • Current NCCPA or AANP certification.
  • Rhode Island State licensure/eligible.
  • Personal Statement.
  • GPA of 3.1 or greater.
  • Curriculum Vitae.
  • Personal Interview.
  • Three letters of recommendation.
