Deputy National Assistant Director, Situational Awareness Specialist

About the Role:
This exciting opportunity is for a Deputy National Assistant Director, Situational Awareness, to join our team at the American Red Cross. As a key member of our National Assistant Directors team, you will play a critical role in supporting the management of our Situation Awareness and Decision Support (SADS) cadre and developing programmatic documentation and guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement processes for supporting national cadre of SADS volunteers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all NADs, NICT, Divisions, Humanitarian Services (HS) IT and HS Business Systems Integration (BSI)
- Represent O&L as a technical stakeholder for the development and refinement of systems
- Develop, manage and implement documentation and guidance for SADS programs and activities
- Deploy to DROs in an AD and above level GAP as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 10 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficiency in one or more business intelligence and visualization products (tableau, power bi, arcgis)
- Ability to work cross-platform with multiple technologies
