Role Summary: Under the guidance of the Customer Service Supervisor/Lead, the Customer Service Representative will ensure high-quality service and provide precise information to clients. The CSR is tasked with accurately initiating accounts, clarifying policies and procedures, and managing payment transactions. This role is essential in safeguarding service requirements in line with established standards.

Required Qualifications: To excel in this position, an individual must effectively fulfill each key responsibility. The qualifications listed below represent the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.   • Flexibility to work varying schedules between 7:00am – 7:00pm, Monday through Friday, and Saturday from 8:00am to 2:00pm.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting clients with the account initiation process.
  • Clearly articulating the terms, conditions, and policies related to the account.
  • Processing account payments and completing cash-out procedures at the end of shifts.
  • Consistently achieving or surpassing performance metrics to ensure optimal service quality.
  • Performing account maintenance, including modifications, adjustments, and statement requests.
  • Reaching out to clients for additional account information as necessary.
  • Assisting with problem correspondence as required.
  • Compiling reports such as the CSR Daily Activity report and cash-out report.
  • Addressing incoming phone inquiries related to E-ZPass accounts, violations, and DMV services.
  • Communicating the business rules, policies, and procedures governing violation processing.
  • Reviewing the violation appeals process with appellants.
  • Handling incoming calls and chat requests regarding DMV services.

  • Performing administrative tasks including image review and violation lookups.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is a fundamental aspect of this role.

Language Proficiency: Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Work Schedule: Variable shifts will be necessary to accommodate business operating hours. Additional and irregular hours may be required due to temporary and/or unforeseen work demands.

Educational Requirements: A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.

Skills: Develops job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete tasks effectively.

Job Complexity: Engages in assignments that are semi-routine but recognizes the need for occasional deviations from standard practices.

Supervision: Generally follows established procedures for routine tasks, requiring instructions primarily for new assignments.

Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 0 - 1 year of relevant experience.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to clients, colleagues, and other organizational members.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations and apply these skills in practical scenarios involving American currency and measurements.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to execute instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form. Capable of addressing problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
