About the Role:
The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Cloud Operations at MasterControl is tasked with steering and overseeing the organization’s cloud infrastructure, SaaS functionalities, DevOps methodologies, and technical operations (TechOps) to guarantee reliability, scalability, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure: Architect, implement, and manage cloud frameworks; devise cloud strategies.
- SaaS Operations: Supervise daily functions, ensuring optimal availability and performance.
- DevOps Leadership: Spearhead the adoption of DevOps practices, enhancing collaboration between development and operational teams.
- Technical Operations Oversight: Manage network administration, system operations, and IT support services.
- Team Development: Cultivate and mentor high-performing teams across all functional areas.
- Strategic Direction: Formulate and execute strategies that align with corporate objectives.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to ensure the successful deployment of SaaS solutions.
- Risk Management: Uphold security and compliance initiatives.
- Incident Response: Direct processes for managing service interruptions.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish strategies for system performance oversight.
- Developer Engagement: Improve workflows and foster collaboration between Ops and Dev teams.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.
Over 10 years of experience in Cloud, SaaS, DevOps, and TechOps management, demonstrating a successful track record in senior leadership positions.
In-depth experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, along with a robust understanding of cloud architecture and services.
Comprehensive knowledge of SaaS operations, including monitoring, incident management, and performance enhancement.
Strong grasp of DevOps methodologies, tools, and practices, including CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code.
Experience in technical operations, including system administration, network management, and IT support.
Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce.
Outstanding strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, effectively engaging with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $280,000 - $300,000, complemented by equity and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
