Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to fill the position of Resident Assistant for our client. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist residents with daily tasks and activities, promoting independence and autonomy.
  • Work collaboratively with property staff and community agencies to identify and address resident problems.
  • Conduct regular unit inspections and welfare checks to ensure resident safety and well-being.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and control access to the premises, ensuring compliance with security procedures.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to residents, promoting a positive and supportive living environment.
  • Assist with resident services activities, including serving and maintaining food for residents.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming environment, ensuring common areas are free from clutter and debris.
Requirements
  • Reliable transportation
  • Clear communicator
  • Basic familiarity with technology
  • Ability to document shifts (read and write)
  • Maturity to extend self to residents needing emotional support but also draw clear boundaries for residents
  • Flexible work hours including holidays, nights, and weekends
