Customer Service Representative

Food Lion is seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide fast, easy, flexible and friendly service to our customers. As a key member of our Front End team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide prompt, accurate and friendly service to customers
  • Unload customers' groceries from cart to belt and check for items before completing an order
  • Scan customers' order and handle payment transactions
  • Follow procedures for handling cash, checks, coupons, gift cards, partner cards, food stamps and WIC vouchers
  • Identify customers needing assistance and offer to take their order to their car
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm motions and stand for long periods
