Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide telephone and face-to-face reception, schedule appointments, and manage client records.
  • Data Entry: Enter demographic, insurance, financial, and PAR information into our PHOCIS/OSIIS systems.
  • Client Services: Verify client insurance eligibility, check OHCA eligibility, and assist with Medicaid enrollment.
  • Record Management: Prepare client records, process clients and records through clinics, and maintain accurate files.
  • Financial Transactions: Collect money, issue receipts, and follow accounting procedures.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Gather statistical data, prepare reports, and billing information for programs.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: One to three years of clerical or related experience required; one to three years of related experience in a medical office preferred.
  • Skills: Good interpersonal and customer service skills, data entry skills of 25-30 WPM, knowledge of Microsoft Word and MS Office applications, and ability to follow oral and written directions.

  • Physical Effort: Sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, and pulling as needed to obtain supplies and conduct job tasks.
