  • Position Summary
  • The Marketing Specialist is responsible for representing Marketing Services to Certco Conventional Retailers. This role requires a thorough knowledge of the entire Marketing Services portfolio to effectively grow Certco's retail network. The specialist will also concentrate on eCommerce solutions, including white label and marketplace options, aiming to boost eCommerce adoption and efficiency among Certco retailers, as well as managing retail websites.
  • Essential Job Functions
  • Website Management:
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the retailer's website.
  • Ensure the website is user-friendly, up-to-date, and optimized for performance.
  • Collaborate with web developers and designers to implement website improvements.
  • Monitor website traffic and user behavior to identify areas for enhancement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly.
  • Web Content Curation:
  • Manage engaging and relevant web content.
  • Develop content strategies that align with the company's goals and target audience.
  • Collaborate with content creators, designers, and other stakeholders to produce high-quality content.
  • Ensure that all content created by designers is posted.
  • Ensure all content is optimized for SEO and adheres to brand guidelines.
  • Analyze content performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • SEO (Search Engine Optimization):
  • SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.
  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for content optimization.
  • Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms.
  • Optimize on-page elements such as meta tags, headers, and content for search engines.
  • Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes.
  • Email Marketing:
  • Plan and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and engage customers.
  • Segment email lists and personalize content to target specific audiences.
  • Monitor email campaign performance and optimize for better results.
  • Retailer Sales & Communication:
  • Communicate effectively with retailers to onboard them into our marketing program.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail partners.
  • Provide support and guidance to retailers on marketing initiatives and best practices.
  • Ecommerce:
  • Marketplace programs (Instacart, door dash, etc.) and white label retail platforms.
  • Is regular in attendance, timely, and complies with Certco's company policy
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficient in operating various office equipment, such as personal computers, copy machines, and printers
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Results driven, strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in digital marketing, SEO, website management, and content curation.
  • Strong understanding of web analytics and performance metrics.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable communicating with retailers and building professional relationships.
Education and Experience
  • 1-3 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
