Position Summary:

The Ski Equipment Attendant is tasked with ensuring a warm welcome for members while efficiently managing the delivery, collection, and storage of ski gear. This role requires providing prompt and courteous service while maintaining the cleanliness of the facility and surrounding areas.

Position Specifications:

  • Outlet: The Arrabelle Club
  • Expected Pay Rate: $22.00 / hour
  • Shift Type: Full Time & Part Time, including Weekends and Holidays
  • Skill Level: Entry Level

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely delivery of members' ski equipment as they prepare to hit the slopes.
  • Safely transport skis from the valet area.
  • Organize and manage ski inventory for daily and weekly needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of all equipment.
  • Document and manage ski tuning requests.
  • Log daily ski-related activities.
  • Arrive on time and dressed in the appropriate uniform.
  • Maintain professionalism in all club interactions.
  • Handle member inquiries and complaints with composure.
  • Demonstrate effective multitasking abilities.
  • Greet members by name and engage in friendly conversation.
  • Monitor the area for members arriving to collect their skis.
  • Assist with various member requests.
  • Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude.
  • Willingness to work during weekends, holidays, and additional hours as needed.
  • Keep the work area tidy, both inside and outside.
  • Conduct regular cleanliness checks throughout the club.
  • Support the Food & Beverage team with daily operations.
  • Assist at the front desk when required.
  • Prepare and provide baked goods for members.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while serving high-profile members.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Punctuality and readiness to work by the designated start time.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and safely maneuver large ski racks.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in winter conditions.
  • Flexibility to assist with club operations as needed.
  • Positive demeanor and attitude.
  • Familiarity with ski and snowboard equipment.
  • Previous experience in guest service is preferred.

The expected pay range is $22.00 per hour. This reflects the anticipated compensation for this position, with individual pay decisions based on various factors.
