Position Summary:

The Ski Equipment Attendant is tasked with ensuring a warm welcome for members and managing the prompt delivery, retrieval, and storage of skiing gear. Providing immediate and courteous service is essential, along with maintaining the cleanliness of the Club and its surrounding areas.

Position Specifications:

  • Outlet: The Arrabelle Club
  • Expected Pay Range: $22.00 / hour
  • Shift Type: Full Time & Part Time, including Weekends and Holidays
  • Skill Level: Entry

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely delivery of members' skiing equipment to the slopes.
  • Transporting equipment from the valet area.
  • Organizing the required gear for each day/week.
  • Maintaining an accurate inventory of all equipment.
  • Documenting ski tunes and managing deliveries/retrievals.
  • Logging daily ski activities.
  • Arriving on time and in proper uniform.
  • Maintaining professionalism when discussing club matters.
  • Handling member information with confidentiality.
  • Effectively managing guest inquiries and complaints with composure.
  • Multitasking efficiently.
  • Greeting members by name and engaging in conversation.
  • Monitoring members on the slopes and greeting them accordingly.
  • Assisting with member requests.
  • Exhibiting a friendly demeanor.
  • Collaborating with peers and supervisors.
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary.
  • Ensuring a clean working environment both inside and outside.
  • Conducting regular tidying of the club facilities.
  • Supporting the Food & Beverage team with daily operations.
  • Assisting at the front desk when required.
  • Preparing and serving baked goods for members.

Position Requirements:

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment with high-profile clientele.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial.
  • Reliability in punctuality and readiness to work by 7:30 AM.
  • Capability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver large ski racks safely.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in winter conditions.
  • Flexibility to assist with club operations as needed.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of skiing and snowboarding equipment.
  • Prior experience in guest service is preferred.

The expected pay range is $22.00. This reflects the anticipated compensation for this role, with individual decisions based on various factors.
