Position Overview

As a Telecommunications Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of assigned telecommunications construction initiatives. Compensation:
$67,000 - $75,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:


Utilize independent judgment to analyze and assess telecommunication system requirements, producing comprehensive installation specifications that comply with industry and client standards.

Conduct on-site assessments to gather essential data for telecommunication network expansion or decommissioning.
Provide expert guidance to clients throughout all deployment phases.
Develop detailed Bills of Materials.
Maintain site-specific customer documentation using computer-aided design software (e.g., AutoCAD).
Collaborate with various management levels across sales, operations, engineering, installation, and procurement.
Support installation and customer engineering teams in resolving project-related challenges.
Ensure adherence to all engineering milestones set by clients and/or management.
Engage in non-client related projects that contribute to corporate advancement.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

You should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar applications.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.

You must be capable of working autonomously in a dynamic environment.

Familiarity with AutoCAD, Myriad, or comparable design software, along with various web-based applications and general file management, is required.

Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively are crucial.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to convey complex technical concepts.

A willingness to work a minimum of 50 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as needed, is expected.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering or telecommunications, preferably a BSEE, is desirable.
