The selected candidate will be responsible for establishing efficient and effective standardized procedures and driving automation initiatives to enhance accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.
This position requires ongoing collaboration with various global stakeholders to address challenges and implement best practices.Work Arrangement: Hybrid model with 2 days in the office per week | Compensation: $135,000 - $150,000 + 10% bonus | Career Advancement: Proven opportunities for internal growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain standardized global processes for manufacturing and cost accounting.
- Enhance the global transfer profit program, identify potential challenges, and collaborate with international teams for solutions.
- Lead automation projects from design through implementation and testing.
- Evaluate manufacturing cost trends, including materials, labor, and overhead rates, in conjunction with internal and contract manufacturing partners.
- Provide strategic guidance and best practices.
- Develop and maintain monthly financial reporting packages focused on Gross Profit and Inventory for regional analysis.
- Ensure adherence to cost accounting best practices to guarantee consistent and accurate reporting across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Accounting, particularly with publicly traded companies.
- At least 3 years of experience in Inventory and/or Cost Accounting is preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with leading ERP software; proficiency in Oracle is a plus.
- Demonstrated accounting expertise coupled with strong analytical capabilities.
- Self-motivated with a proven track record of enhancing existing processes.
- Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create complex financial models.
- Experience with Power BI is beneficial.
