Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize expertise in conducting simulation studies focused on system and component performance, engineering trade-offs, and logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and best practices through thorough review and modeling of work; develop and maintain modeling best practices.
  • Engage in complex problem analysis and develop relevant models to address intricate technical challenges.
  • Apply advanced methodologies and research techniques to investigate and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Assess vendor capabilities to ensure the provision of necessary products or services.
  • Collaborate with analysts and government clients to validate intelligence data for critical modeling and simulation analyses.
  • Conduct performance evaluations of military communication networks and assess susceptibility to Integrated Air Defense Systems (IADS).
  • Demonstrate proficiency in software engineering with a focus on modeling and simulation, radar, or communications.
  • Possess experience in RF and antenna modeling and simulation.
  • Exhibit strong technical writing skills and experience in a research-oriented environment.
  • Understand command and control processes and work within a Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) environment.
  • Adapt existing models as necessary and assess RF performance using software tools.
  • Utilize modeling and simulation tools such as System Tool Kit (STK) and AFSIM, and possess experience in data management and documentation.
  • Demonstrate coding skills in MATLAB, Simulink, or C++.
  • Employ statistical analysis and operations research skills effectively.
  • Implement Digital Engineering techniques throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance is preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with multiple programming languages, including Python, Java, JavaScript, and C, is preferred.
  • Experience with Agile Scrum development methodology is advantageous.
