Key Responsibilities
- Utilize expertise in conducting simulation studies, focusing on system and component performance, engineering trade-offs, and overall system effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and best practices through thorough review and modeling of work, while developing and maintaining modeling standards.
- Analyze complex problems and create relevant models to address dynamic structural, thermal, and other analyses.
- Apply advanced software and systems methodologies to investigate and resolve intricate technical challenges.
- Evaluate vendor capabilities and provide technical consultation to both internal teams and external organizations.
- Collaborate with analysts and government clients to verify essential intelligence data for modeling and simulation analyses.
- Employ analysis tools and techniques to support mission-level evaluations, including military communication networks and threat system characterizations.
- Demonstrate proficiency in software engineering with a focus on modeling and simulation, radar, or communications.
- Conduct RF and antenna modeling and simulation, along with technical writing and documentation.
- Work effectively in a research-oriented environment and understand command and control processes.
- Adapt existing models as necessary and assess RF performance using appropriate software.
- Utilize modeling and simulation tools such as System Tool Kit (STK) and AFSIM, while managing data and composing analysis reports.
- Possess coding experience in MATLAB, Simulink, or C++, along with strong statistical analysis skills.
- Implement Digital Engineering techniques throughout the system lifecycle.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Technical Experience
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Active TS/SCI clearance is preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with multiple programming languages, including Python, Java, JavaScript, and C, is preferred.
- Experience with Agile Scrum development methodology is beneficial.
