Job Description:
The effort's objective is to provide software-agnostic field support for forward-deployed users of operational, advanced analytic intelligence support, and technical and analytical mission planning and execution systems support. Field services include engineering and technical administration, embedded data services, and analytical support and mentorship for workflow development, data source integration, and expert utilization of multiple software capabilities to solve information challenges, including those that are mission critical. The services will take place across the SIE, including Tactical Local Area Networks and other Department of Defense military hardware and End User Devices.
Scope:
The scope encompasses the SOF Enterprise defined as Headquarters United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC), Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), Marine Corps Special Operations Command (MARSOC), and Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC).
Responsibilities:
- Provide software-agnostic field support for forward-deployed users of operational, advanced analytic intelligence support, and technical and analytical mission planning and execution systems support.
- Offer engineering and technical administration, embedded data services, and analytical support and mentorship for workflow development, data source integration, and expert utilization of multiple software capabilities to solve information challenges.
- Support the execution of mission-critical technical solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related discipline; or Technical School Certificate related to computer systems OR the equivalent technical training with experience that aligns directly to the duties to be performed in lieu of degree for specific user units.
- Minimum of two (2) years, within the last eight (8) years, operational experience with/or supporting the assigned Component.
- Minimum of five (5) years operational experience with or supporting an organization's: navigation and mission planning techniques including preparation and check out of flight plans for aircraft weapons systems OR mission planning computer systems, communications, mission equipment, and planning techniques including preparation of unit mission plans for conduct of peacetime and wartime special operations missions.
- Experience with the assigned Component's tactical Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and mission guides.
- Knowledgeable of assigned Components operations and tactics.
- An ACTIVE Secret Clearance with TS Eligibility is required for all locations. Some locations require TS/SCI.
Education & Certifications:
- B.S. or B.A. in Engineering, Computer Systems or other related field
- Will consider certifications and training in lieu of educational requirements
Security Clearance:
- Top Secret SCI security clearance is required unless otherwise specified in position description.
