Registered Dietitian

The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for planning and coordinating nutritional care for patients, providing guidance and collaborating with the food service management to ensure the provision of high-quality food and nutrition services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans for patients, taking into account their specific needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure that patient care plans are comprehensive and effective.
- Conduct regular assessments of patients' nutritional status and make recommendations for changes to their care plans as needed.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on healthy eating habits and nutrition-related topics.
- Ensure compliance with nutritional standards, government regulations, and center policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase the nutritional value of patients' diets.
- Supervise and train dietary staff on safe food handling practices and nutritional care procedures.
- Conduct regular audits of dietary services to ensure safe food handling and compliance with regulations.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team
- Knowledge of nutritional standards, government regulations, and center policies and procedures
