Job Title: Assistant Director of Facilities Maintenance

Heritage Hotels & Resorts is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Facilities Maintenance to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our properties, ensuring that our facilities are safe, efficient, and meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage facility functions, implement policies and safety procedures, and engage with vendors and contractors.
  • Minimize hazards, coordinate remodeling and refurbishing initiatives, and conduct preventative maintenance of assigned property or facility.
  • Develop budgets and long-range facility plans based on projected growth and needs.
  • Oversee the functioning of all building systems, including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing, and waste management.
  • Supervise contractors involved in facility projects and delivery of services.
  • Ensure building operations comply with all local zoning laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive responsibility of facilities management required.
  • Hospitality experience preferred.
  • Certified Pool Operator certification may be required.
  • OSHA Forklift or Scissor Lift certification may be required.
  • Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, and generators as well as various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of facilities software and MS Office required.
