Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Family and Community Specialist to join our team at LSU Health New Orleans. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, and Attendance (ERSEA) and Parent Family Community Engagement (PFCE) Framework processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Confirm family qualifications and coordinate participation in program services, including attendance, family partnership agreements, and parenting education.
  • Develop relationships with community-based service providers to support families in areas such as housing, employment, and mental wellness.
  • Collaborate with resource and referral agencies to ensure families receive necessary support.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, social work, counseling, or related field.
  • Three years of experience in social work/social services.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Human Services or related field and experience working in Early Head Start or Head Start.
