Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct initial patient screenings and provide personalized advice on oral health and preventative care.
  2. Clean teeth, remove plaque, and educate patients on good brushing techniques.
  3. Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis, and work with dentists to develop effective treatment plans.
  4. Maintain accurate documentation and charts for each patient, ensuring seamless communication with dentists and colleagues.
  5. Assist with patient preparation, X-rays, and dental impressions, as needed.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients of all ages, building trust and ensuring a positive experience.

Requirements:

  • Dental Hygiene license required.
  • Proven experience as a dental hygienist or similar role.
  • Deep knowledge of health and safety regulations, including HIPAA.
  • Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
