Patient Care Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting. You will also collect and document patient data, communicate effectively with healthcare teams, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
• Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Collect and document patient data, including vital signs and medical histories
• Communicate effectively with healthcare teams, including nurses, doctors, and other caregivers
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
• Stock and maintain supplies and equipment, ensuring timely availability and minimizing waste
• Assist with delegated clerical duties, such as answering telephones and preparing patient records
Requirements:
• Completion of an approved nurse aide training program and passing grade on state exam
• Possession of current Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in the state of Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin
• Ability to lift, move, and transfer patients up to 50 pounds
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
Physical Demands:
• Constant standing and walking required
• Frequent use of hearing and speech to communicate with patients and colleagues
• Frequent use of vision for distances near and far, with ability to identify and distinguish colors
• Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 pounds
• Occasional lifting/moving patients, up to 50 pounds
Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
Estimated Salary: $52,500/year
