About the RoleWe are seeking a Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for taking x-rays of designated parts of the human body for diagnostic purposes and providing support for the imaging department.
Duties and Responsibilities- Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding and provide educational material as needed.
- Transport patients to and from clinical areas and verify patient identity according to policies and procedures.
- Prepare patients for radiology exams by positioning them for the procedure.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to prevent unnecessary exposure.
- Administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Maintain a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, and other areas.
- Completion of a radiology certification program.
- No experience required.
- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification.
- Radiographer, Licensed, in Wisconsin.
- ARRT-R Radiography certification.

CompensationThe estimated salary for this role is $28.36 per hour, with opportunities for shift differentials and relocation assistance available. The pay range starts at $28.36 per hour, with daily pay available.
