Job Description

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a highly skilled Research Project Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of research programs, including project planning, identifying funding sources, and preparing grant proposals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and researchers to develop and implement research programs, including project planning and grant writing.
  • Identify and pursue funding opportunities to support research initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with colleagues, researchers, and external partners to advance research goals.
  • Provide strategic support for research projects, including data analysis, visualization, and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Coordinate and facilitate research-related meetings, workshops, and events.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of research funding opportunities, including National Institutes of Health (NIH) and other federal funding agencies.
  • Stay up-to-date on research trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform research initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as research administration, public health, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in research administration, project management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of research funding opportunities, including NIH and other federal funding agencies.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in grant writing, research project management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of research data management, including data analysis and visualization.
  • Experience working with research databases, including PubMed and other relevant databases.
