Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Director to lead our client's supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supply chain management, strategic sourcing, and logistics optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Supply Chain Strategies: Design and execute supply chain strategies to ensure seamless operations, achieve organizational goals, and meet performance KPIs.
  • Supervise Daily Operations: Oversee the daily activities of the Supply Chain Team, ensuring timely execution of tasks and maintaining high productivity levels.
  • Strategic Sourcing and Procurement: Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate optimal contracts and pricing, focusing on total cost and value.
  • Cost Savings and Quality Management: Identify and execute cost-saving programs, maintain a total supplier quality management system, and ensure accurate measurement of supplier performance.
  • Inventory Management and Warehousing: Optimize warehousing functions, including shipping, receiving, and material handling, to maximize productivity and inventory accuracy.
  • Production Planning and Inventory Control: Supervise the production planning team in developing plans to utilize labor and machine resources efficiently, manage inventory levels, and minimize production risk.
  • Supply Chain Technology and Infrastructure: Define and implement information technology infrastructure to support supply chain operations.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Lead and develop the Supply Chain Team to achieve best-in-class performance, maintain departmental KPIs, and use data to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a management role in manufacturing supply chain, with direct ERP experience.
  • Skills: In-depth understanding of supply chain management, inventory management, production planning, and global transportation services; strong leadership skills, excellent planning, organizational, team, and interpersonal skills.
