Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager - Clean Energy to join our team at Generac Power Systems. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain for our suite of Clean Energy Products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain MRP with Planning/Purchasing
  • Communicate performance metrics to the executive team in monthly SIOP meetings
  • Analyze demand risks and determine mitigation plans
  • Understand capacity planning and collaborate with external and internal manufacturers on capacity expansion planning
  • Track and report Excess & Obsolete (E&O) liability risks
  • Optimize Finished Goods freight/logistics costs
  • Work with external manufacturing partners on quality improvement initiatives
  • Assist with various financial analyses
  • Participate in Supplier quality audits
  • Act as an SAP Super User within functional area
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or Operations
  • ~5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Demand Planning, or other related experience
  • ~ MBA preferred
  • ~ Experience using SAP or equivalent ERP required
  • ~ Experience with Clean Energy Products and electro-mechanical assemblies preferred
  • ~ Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time
