Job Title: Continuous Improvement Leader

This exciting opportunity is located within our EnviroLogix business, which develops and manufactures testing solutions for detecting GMOs, mycotoxins, plant pathogens, natural toxins, and chemical contaminants in multiple agricultural matrices.

Responsibilities:
  • Own the planning, facilitation, implementation, and sustainment of Lean tools and Kaizen activities in the areas of Safety, Quality, and Delivery.
  • Facilitate EBOS training and development roadmap for Business Unit Leadership Team and key individuals.
  • Develop Operations Managers' skills through effective coaching, teaching, and mentoring.
  • Support the training and education of manufacturing and other functional teams in the application of EBOS tools.
  • Challenge the status quo and guide leadership team in the identification of cross-functional and cross-cultural improvement opportunities.
  • Provide proactive support and facilitation with Ensign-Bickford Industries (EBI) leadership in the development of strategy deployment plan (SDP), SDP X-Matrix, and action plans, operational Key Process Indicators (KPIs), and effective root cause countermeasures via the Problem Solving Process (PSP).
  • Incorporate EBOS culture in all business growth and execution activities.
  • Understand data and results to develop business cases for change; measuring process improvement performance against targets.
  • Establish appropriate infrastructure and related processes for documenting and validating improvements.
  • Provide Kaizen-related training; contributing to training material contents.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in an Operations role preferred.
  • Experience in sales and marketing or commercial role would benefit this role.
  • Demonstrated experience with Lean tools preferred.
