We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Coordinator to join our team at Journal Hotels. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a positive and memorable experience at our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services
    • Provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere to all guests, including a pre-arrival consultation and arrival greeting to facilitate directions and information regarding hotel amenities, services, and hours of operation.
    • Be present and available in the lobby and other public areas to create personalized experiences and address guest needs.
  • Arrival and Departure Coordination
    • Coordinate the execution of all arrivals and departures of special guests, including VIPs, long-stay guests, and Fam visits.
    • Respond to potential, repeat, and in-house guest requests and needs in a timely manner.
  • Communication and Documentation
    • Login daily to Revinate/Inguest/iPrefer.
    • Execute all items on the checklist surrounding guest experience and guest relations.
  • Guest Relations
    • Actively listen and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests while maintaining confidentiality of guest and hotel information.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Hospitality (hotels preferred).
  • BS in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Proficiency in English (required); Multilingualism will be considered an asset.
  • Systems: Opera PMS and Micros PMS experience (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Open schedule availability (required).
  • Physical tasks: stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 15 pounds without assistance.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
