About the Role

SAIC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Analyst to provide administrative support to the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)).

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage CAC and building access applications, access control requests, country and threat briefs, and in/out processing of OUSD(R&E) personnel.
  • Provide support to OUSD(R&E) personnel on clearance information, locks, alarm systems, and maintenance of GSA containers in OUSD(R&E) spaces.
  • Run queries of the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) database for clearance information.
  • Provide guidance on Classification and Declassification, including conducting Original Classification Authority /Derivative Classification trainings as required.
  • Assist OUSD(R&E) with the development of Mission Essential Functions, continuity of operations (COOP) plans, and COOP exercises.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 7-10 years of relevant experience or 10+ years' experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Previous experience with security support in a DoD or contractor facility, specifically in the functions of PERSEC, PHYSEC, continuity of operations, INFOSEC/OPSEC, and INDSEC.
  • Strong leadership, problem identification/resolution skills, flexibility, initiative, and a proven ability to work with Senior Executives efficiently and effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Office to include PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic government work environment and have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
