The Department of Radiological Sciences is committed to pioneering research,

Responsibilities:
Under the general oversight of the Contract and Grant Manager, the incumbent will undertake a diverse range of intricate budgetary, financial, and operational analyses related to the Department of Radiological Sciences. Key responsibilities include:

1. Conducting reconciliation, review, and analysis of expenditures.
2. Performing forecasting and managing financial data alongside all associated functions.
3. Identifying, analyzing, and enhancing current processes to promote efficient business operations.
4. Maintaining precise records and documentation to support all procurement activities.
5. Processing purchase orders and utilizing KFS for reimbursement requests.

The incumbent is expected to demonstrate proficient administrative and communication skills, along with the ability to meet established project deadlines.

Qualifications:

Required:
1. Ability to collect and organize relevant information for basic financial analysis tasks.
2. Proven capability to present information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.


3. Strong interpersonal skills at all levels within the organization; excellent service orientation, critical thinking abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.

4. Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume environment.
5. Proficiency in spreadsheet and database software for moderately complex financial analysis and reporting.
6. Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
7. Familiarity with finance policies, practices, and systems.
8. Adaptability to shifting priorities.
9. Intermediate understanding of internal control practices and their significance in safeguarding University resources.
10. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience/training.

Preferred:
1. Familiarity with UCI Kuali Financial Systems and Decision Support, as well as University Policies & Procedures.
