Diabetes Specialist

The Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine is seeking a distinguished Diabetes Specialist to enhance clinical programs in the care of patients with diabetes, related metabolic conditions and endocrine disorders. The successful candidate will participate as Clinician-Educator in the teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents and endocrinology fellows in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing excellent patient care in general endocrinology and focused areas of interest and experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Participating in the management of patients on endocrinology consult service.
- Contributing to the overall scholarly and research activities of the Division.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism, and be able to demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient care, education and research.
