The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolism at Virginia Jobs is seeking a distinguished Pediatric Endocrinologist to join our team on a PRN basis. As a renowned expert in your field, you will be part of a busy outpatient and inpatient clinical program in a collaborative atmosphere.

Job Description

As a Pediatric Endocrinologist with our team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching: You will have teaching responsibilities in the area of Pediatric Endocrinology, guiding and mentoring Residents, Chief Residents, and Fellows when applicable.
  • Research: You will have required research responsibilities, contributing to our successful multidisciplinary research program in childhood obesity and clinical trials in type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
  • Clinical: You will serve as a Pediatric Endocrinologist for the Departments of Pediatrics, providing high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Endocrinology.
  • Experience with clinical care of patients.
  • Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.
