As a Senior IT Configuration Specialist, you'll be part of our Information Technology Team within the Information Technology Division, working closely with business units, technology teams, and the development team to design and implement innovative solutions for our Payroll systems.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain functional design documents, system reference guides, process diagrams, training materials, and process workflows to ensure seamless system operations.
  • Design and implement functional solutions for Payroll systems, leveraging expertise in SAP Payroll and finance/accounting principles.
  • Solve complex issues that arise with system operations, applying analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and implement effective workarounds and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and maintain reporting metrics and procedure documentation, ensuring consistent and accurate handling of problems and meeting SLAs.
  • Stay abreast of emerging systems technology and best practices, providing recommendations for enhancements or changes to maintain domain expertise.


Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:




  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with a finance/accounting emphasis or related field, or equivalent experience/training.
  • 3+ years of experience with SAP Payroll, with a strong understanding of payroll processes, payroll clusters, off-cycle payments, 3rd party remittance, benefits, garnishments, and process models.
  • Preferred qualifications include 5+ years of experience with SAP Payroll and relevant certifications, such as SAP Configuration certification.
