Oracle HCM Cloud Lead with Payroll

Role Overview:
The Oracle HCM Cloud Lead with Payroll is responsible for managing the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of Oracle HCM Cloud with a strong focus on Payroll. This role requires close collaboration with HR, finance, and IT teams to ensure the system delivers accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll processes.
This individual acts as the subject matter expert on Oracle Payroll while overseeing other HCM modules such as Core HR, Benefits, and Time and Labor.
Key Responsibilities:
Oracle HCM Cloud Implementation and Configuration:
Lead the end-to-end implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud, particularly focusing on the Payroll module. Gather business requirements, configure the system, and ensure accurate setup of payroll processes, earnings, deductions, tax configurations, and compliance. Customize Oracle HCM modules (Payroll, Core HR, Benefits, Time and Labor) to align with company-specific requirements.
Payroll Process Management:
Ensure payroll processes are configured to meet local, state, federal, and international regulations, ensuring compliance with tax, benefits, and wage regulations.
Manage payroll audits, data validation, and periodic payroll runs to ensure timely and accurate payments. Troubleshoot and resolve payroll processing errors, discrepancies, or issues in collaboration with HR and finance teams.Stakeholder Engagement:
Work closely with HR, payroll, and finance teams to ensure payroll configurations align with business processes and payroll needs. Provide expertise and recommendations to streamline and optimize payroll workflows within the HCM system. Communicate technical aspects of payroll configuration and processing to non-technical stakeholders.
System Support and Maintenance:
Oversee ongoing support and maintenance of the Oracle Payroll system, including tax updates, configuration changes, and payroll updates. Ensure regular upgrades and patches to the Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll module are tested and deployed without affecting payroll processing. Troubleshoot system issues and provide post-implementation support for end-users, especially during payroll processing periods.
Training and User Support:
Provide training to payroll, HR, and finance teams on how to use Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll effectively. Create and maintain system documentation, user guides, and troubleshooting resources.
Compliance and Auditing:
Ensure payroll configurations meet local and global regulatory requirements. Perform regular system audits to maintain data integrity, security, and compliance with payroll laws and standards.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for improving payroll processing efficiencies and system optimizations. Stay updated with the latest Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll updates, tools, and best practices.
