Position Overview:
$400/month housing stipend available for eligible full-time residents of specific counties. Must meet on-site work requirements.
As a Patient Services Team Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with clinic leadership to oversee the patient service team.
- Providing administrative support within a medical clinic, including reception duties, telephone management, medical records handling, charge entry, and processing referrals.
- Facilitating communication and collaboration between the healthcare team and patients/families to address their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Exhibiting accountability for relationship-based care and aligning with the organizational mission and core values.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in an outpatient clinic or physician office.
- Demonstrated proficiency in office and computer skills, including filing, telephone answering, and familiarity with software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- A genuine desire to work with diverse patient populations.
Physical Requirements:
This position involves sedentary work, requiring prolonged periods of sitting and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs.
