Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, cultivate, and solicit major gift prospects to support the University's strategic priorities
  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to achieve annual and long-term goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, alumni, and volunteers to advance the University's mission
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the University to leverage resources and expertise
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices in fundraising and advancement
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience in development, sales, marketing, or a related field
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to secure gifts from individuals, corporations, foundations, and other private funding sources
  • Knowledge of fundraising approaches specific to an academic institution
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with academic leadership, faculty, colleagues, prospects, and donors
