Job Summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital (WDH) is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide high-quality administrative support to our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for greeting and assisting all who enter the department, providing internal and external customer service, and maintaining a professional and organized work area.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist all who enter the department
Provide internal and external customer service per WDH standards
Take messages and relay information to appropriate personnel
Respond to emergencies and summon the appropriate personnel
File, fax, collate, and photocopy material as required
Maintain work area in a professional, organized, and HIPAA-compliant manner
Type correspondence, memos, minutes, and related documents
Reserve conference rooms and schedule meetings as directed
Perform special projects as requested

Requirements

One to three years of administrative experience supporting a leader of a department
Competency in computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite
High school diploma
