Position Overview:

As a CDL-A Shuttle Truck Driver, you will be a vital part of our logistics operations, transporting Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight overnight between our service centers across the network. This role primarily involves minimal freight handling, allowing you to focus on efficiently dropping, hooking, and getting back on the road.   • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Minimum of 4 months' (1 year preferred) experience driving tractor-trailers within the last 3 years
  • Must possess a Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (tanker endorsement required for portable totes)
  • No reckless driving convictions in the past 5 years
  • No DUI convictions in the past 5 years
  • No suspensions or revocations in the last 5 years
  • No serious violations in the previous 12 months (e.g., 15 mph or greater over speed limit, following too closely, improper passing, traffic offenses resulting in fatalities)
  • No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
  • No preventable DOT recordable accidents in the past 3 years

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Transport freight, with a force requirement of 54 lbs
  • Open and close trailer doors, with a force requirement of 46 lbs
  • Hook and unhook trailers, with a force requirement of 90 lbs
  • Enter and exit a Commercial Motor Vehicle
  • Access the rear of a trailer from ground level
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections
  • Drive safely and responsibly
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance
