As a key member of our quality control team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation of our quality standards and processes across heavy civil infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain project-specific Quality Control Plans, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Supervise daily quality control activities, including testing, inspections, and documentation of self-performed work and subcontractor work.
  • Monitor work quality and address non-compliance issues as they arise, promoting a culture of quality and safety.
  • Coordinate and schedule third-party quality control testing and inspections, ensuring timely and accurate results.
  • Review and maintain QC documentation, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Conduct regular quality control inspections of materials and workmanship, identifying and addressing deficiencies.
  • Prepare and submit QC reports, daily inspection logs, and non-conformance reports (NCRs), providing actionable insights for improvement.
  • Participate in quality-related meetings, offering input and recommendations to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Monitor subcontractor and supplier compliance with QC requirements, collaborating with the QC Manager to address any discrepancies.
  • Provide quality control-related training to project staff, ensuring proper execution of QC procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Associates degree or equivalent combination of technical training and relevant experience in construction or quality management.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a quality control or construction supervisory role.
  • Solid understanding of construction practices, specifications, and quality control procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify quality issues and work collaboratively to resolve them.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project teams, field crews, and subcontractors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
