Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Specialist

Job Summary:
Actalent is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for building, testing, and qualifying next-generation spacecraft. You will utilize innovative solutions and cutting-edge technology to solve complex manufacturing and engineering problems daily.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with production, development, and quality teams to ensure efficient production processes.
- Lead production on the assembly line and new production introduction.
- Provide technical support to production teams, utilizing expertise to rapidly respond to and solve product issues.
- Develop and implement new processes, equipment, and assembly lines to support aggressive build ramps.

Requirements:
- Experience with SAP or ERP software and systems.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing practices and principles.
- Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis Techniques such as Fishbone, Fault Tree, DMAIC, etc.

Work Environment:
- 75% of time spent on the production floor working with technician teams.
- 25% of time spent performing independent development work.
