Healthcare Services Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Representative to join our team at InterMed, P.A. This role is responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:- Answering Calls: Respond to incoming phone calls in a timely and professional manner, addressing patient concerns and queries.
- Scheduling Appointments: Schedule routine and follow-up patient appointments, rescheduling or cancelling as needed.
- Prescription Refills and Referrals: Assist patients with prescription refill requests and referral needs.
- General Practice Information: Provide patients with general practice information and support as required.
- Quality and Performance Metrics: Respond to all patient and external customer requests via incoming phone call according to established processes and protocols and within established quality and performance metrics.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Communication Skills: Possess strong communication, organizational, and professional judgment skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Windows-based computer applications and possess excellent typing and computer ability while maintaining a telephone conversation.
- Teamwork: Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to work as a team member.
- Performance Metrics: Consistently meet and adhere to performance and quality metrics.
