Wound Care Specialist Job Description

ReNew Wound Care is seeking a highly skilled Wound Care Specialist to join our team of wound care specialists. As a Wound Care Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of patient wounds, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing advanced wound care techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments of patient wounds and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement advanced wound care techniques, including debridement, dressing selection, skin grafts, and infection control measures.
  • Collaboration with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and provide updates on patient progress.
  • Travel Schedule: Manage a travel schedule to visit multiple skilled nursing facilities on a regular basis.

Requirements:

  • Valid License as a PA.
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in advanced wound care is highly preferred.
  • Certification in wound care (e.g., CWOCN, CWS, WCC, WOCN) is a plus.
  • Ability to travel to multiple locations.
