Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our inpatient team at ECHN. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients based on departmental standards and develop individualized treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and modify treatment plans as needed to address patient symptoms, activity levels, and medical status.
  • Administer physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques to relieve pain and improve function.
  • Utilize effective techniques to assist patients in normalizing motor activity and learning.
  • Document patient progress and adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in physical therapy.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a minimum of a B.S.
  • Current Connecticut license in Physical Therapy.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Personal computer skills and proficiency in Windows-based programs.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel between multiple work sites.
