Physical Therapist Assistant RoleThe Physical Therapist Assistant plays a vital role in evaluating clients' daily living skills and capacities. They assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment, including exercise instruction, manual therapy techniques, and activities of daily living.
- Evaluate clients' daily living skills and capacities
- Assist patients with physical therapy treatment
- Observe patients during treatments and report observations to the Physical Therapist
- Communicate with staff and other healthcare team members
- Associates degree or equivalent from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant licensure to practice
Experienced and newly licensed Physical Therapist Assistants are encouraged to apply.
