Physical Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our inpatient team at ECHN. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients based on departmental standards and develop individualized treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Conduct thorough assessments and modify treatment plans as needed to address changing patient needs.
- Administer various physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques to relieve pain and improve function.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to educate and empower individuals to manage their care and achieve independence.
- Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with insurance guidelines and departmental policies.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance treatment techniques and stay current with best practices.
- Supervise affiliated students and contribute to the clinical education of future healthcare professionals.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a minimum of a B.S. degree.
- Current licensure in Physical Therapy in the state of Connecticut.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Personal computer skills and proficiency in Windows-based programs.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between multiple work sites.
