Job Summary:

NESCO Inc is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial transactions related to our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify vendor invoices for compliance with purchase orders and contracts
  • Coordinate with project field staff and management to ensure receipt of materials and equipment
  • Coding and approval of vendor invoices
  • Tax compliance and financial reporting
  • Fielding vendor inquiries and resolving issues
  • Change order management and coordination
  • Preparation of client invoices and coordination of approval
  • Assistance with cost forecasting and accounting system reconciliation
  • Assistance with work breakdown structure establishment and project closeout

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university
  • 2 years of public accounting experience or 4 years of experience with a mix of public and private sectors
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret contracts
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Previous experience with Oracle is preferred
  • Self-starter with excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
