Business Development Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Business Development Specialist to enhance BrightView's market position and drive profitable financial growth. This role plays a crucial part in achieving long-term organizational strategic goals, building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of current market conditions and be able to manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage sales pipeline from prospecting to closing
  • Build and maintain key customer relationships
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities
  • Negotiate and close deals
  • Collaborate with partners across operations, finance, marketing, and more
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Extensive face-to-face (B2B) selling experience at the mid to senior levels, 3-5 years of experience
  • Experience managing multiple projects and able to multi-task in a large territory
  • Proficient with computer programs including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with a CRM or SFA tool
  • Proven track record of sales goal attainment and pipeline management
  • Working experience with social media
  • Local knowledge and contacts in one or more market segments preferred
  • Experience in the service industry with commercial contract sales desirable
