Job Overview

OBJECTIVE:

The role involves the operation of commercial vehicles to transport goods to clients, ensuring the precision of all documentation. A strong emphasis is placed on the safety of both personnel and the public throughout all operational activities. Key responsibilities encompass delivery, inventory assessments, and fostering positive customer interactions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Transport and retrieve products while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Uphold excellent customer relations by ensuring timely deliveries and addressing any issues professionally.
  • Conduct inventory checks and manage stock levels effectively.
  • Comply with DOT regulations and seek opportunities for route optimization.
  • Regularly inspect, maintain, and operate the commercial vehicle in a safe manner.
  • Engage in training sessions and comply with industry standards.
  • Support various projects as directed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Involves heavy lifting and extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking. Operation of commercial vehicles for several hours daily.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • No supervisory duties.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent professional experience is necessary.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • At least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience is essential.
  • Must maintain a satisfactory driving record.
  • Capability to operate material handling equipment is required.
  • A valid Class A or Class B commercial driver's license is mandatory.
  • Strong communication abilities and customer service skills are crucial.
