Job Summary:
Paper Transport, a leading transportation company, is seeking a skilled CDL-A local truck driver to join our team. As a dedicated truck driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to our customers in the Chester, VA area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods to customers in the local area
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and mileage
Benefits:
- Home daily
- 4 ON 4 OFF schedule
- Base compensation: $27.00 per hour
- Overtime: $40.50 per hour (after 40 hours)
- Average weekly compensation: $1,188
- Average yearly compensation: $62,000
Requirements:
- Current Class A CDL
- 6+ months of experience
- No DUI/DWI or other alcohol-related convictions in the last 5 years
- Must live within 30 miles of the designated pickup and delivery area
