About the Role

At American Waterworks, we are seeking a highly skilled Construction Field Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring that our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Training and Development: Provide infield training to minimize negative customer experiences, inspect job sites and production crews, and ensure routine maintenance compliance on all equipment.
  • Safety, Quality, and Efficiency: Stay up to date on production best practices for safety, quality, and efficiency, make and communicate adjustments to best practices when needed, and ensure all aspects of installations are performed safely, efficiently, and with high quality.
  • Remarkable Experience: Ensure the production team provides a remarkable experience to customers, communicate with customers in a timely manner to overcome obstacles/problems on jobs and reach an acceptable solution, and escalate customer issues to the team as necessary.
  • Purpose, Mission, and Values: Live out the company's purpose, mission, and values, and provide a remarkable customer experience.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Associate's or bachelor's degree in construction or business, and 2+ years of experience as a foreman/manager in the construction trades, or a combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to detect/recognize information in written materials and on screen roughly 50% of the time, ability to understand, communicate, read, and write in English, and ability to lift or move up to 100 lb.
